Punto Banco Regulations and Strategy
Baccarat Banque Standards
Baccarat banque is gambled on with eight decks in a dealer’s shoe. Cards valued less than ten are counted at face value and with 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is one. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t actual people; they just represent the two hands to be dealt).
Two hands of two cards are then given to the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The value for every hand is the total of the cards, but the 1st digit is ignored. For instance, a hand of 5 and six has a score of 1 (5 plus 6 equals 11; ditch the initial ‘1′).
A additional card could be given depending on the following rules:
- If the player or house gets a total of eight or 9, the two players hold.
- If the gambler has 5 or less, she hits. Players otherwise hold.
- If the player stands, the bank hits on a total lower than five. If the gambler hits, a guide is employed to decide if the banker stands or takes a card.
Punto Banco Odds
The bigger of the 2 totals wins. Winning bets on the banker payout 19:20 (even money less a 5 percent commission. Commission are tracked and paid off once you leave the game so ensure you still have money around before you depart). Winning bets on the gambler pays one to one. Winning bets for a tie normally pays 8 to 1 but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a bad wager as ties occur less than one in every ten rounds. Be cautious of putting money on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly better for 9:1 versus 8:1)
Played correctly baccarat banque offers relatively decent odds, apart from the tie wager of course.
Baccarat Method
As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has a few accepted myths. One of which is similar to a false impression in roulette. The past isn’t a fore-teller of events yet to happen. Recording previous outcomes at a table is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that gave its life for our stationary desires.
The most familiar and probably the most favorable course of action is the 1-3-2-6 tactic. This tactic is used to build up earnings and limit losses.
Start by betting 1 dollar. If you succeed, add another to the two on the table for a sum of 3 dollars on the second bet. Should you succeed you will have six on the table, take away four so you have 2 on the third round. If you win the third wager, put down two to the four on the table for a total of 6 on the 4th bet.
If you don’t win on the initial wager, you take a loss of one. A profit on the 1st wager followed by a hit on the second creates a loss of two. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you with a profit of two. And wins on the 1st three with a loss on the fourth means you balance the books. Succeeding at all 4 rounds gives you with 12, a gain of 10. This means you will be able to lose the 2nd wager 5 instances for every favorable streak of four bets and in the end, balance the books.
