Baccarat Regulations

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards with less than a value of ten are said to be worth their printed value and on the other hand 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual gamblers; they just appear as the two hands to be played).

2 hands of 2 cards are then given out to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The total for each hand shall be the sum total of the two cards, but the very first digit is dumped. For e.g., a hand of seven … 5 results in a total of two (7plusfive=12; drop the ‘1′).

A third card may be given depending on the foll. standards:

- If the bettor or banker has a value of 8 or nine, the two players stand.

- If the player has 5 or lower, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If bettor stands, the banker hits of 5 or lower. If the player hits, a chart might be used in order to see if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the two scores is the winner. Winning wagers on the banker payout nineteen to twenty (even money minus a 5% commission. Commission is monitored and moved out when you leave the table so be sure to have cash left over before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to one. Winner bets for tie generally pays out at eight to 1 and on occasion 9 to one. (This is a terrible gamble as ties occur lower than 1 every 10 hands. be wary of laying money on a tie. Regardless odds are significantly better – nine to one vs. 8 to one)

Played smartly, baccarat presents fairly good odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Tactics

As with just about every games, Baccarat has some well-known misunderstandings. One of which is close to a roulette myth. The past is surely not an actual indicator of future outcomes. Staying abreast of last results on a chart is definitely a total waste of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most commonly used and probably most successful tactic is the one-3-2-6 concept. This tactic is used to build up winnings and cutting back risk.
