Baccarat Practices and Scheme
Baccarat Banque Regulations
Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are counted at their printed value while at the same time Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is one. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not actual people; they simply represent the 2 hands that are dealt).
Two cards are given to both the ‘bank’ and ‘gambler’. The score for every hand is the total of the 2 cards, but the first digit is ignored. For example, a hand of five and 6 has a value of 1 (five plus six = eleven; drop the 1st ‘one’).
A third card will be given depending on the rules below:
- If the player or bank has a total of 8 or 9, both players hold.
- If the player has less than 5, he takes a card. Players otherwise stay.
- If the player holds, the bank hits on a value lower than 5. If the gambler takes a card, a chart is used to see if the house holds or takes a card.
Baccarat Odds
The larger of the two hands wins. Winning wagers on the bank pay out 19:20 (equal cash minus a five percent rake. The Rake is recorded and cleared out once you depart the game so make sure you have cash remaining before you quit). Winning bets on the gambler pays 1:1. Winning bets for tie normally pay 8 to 1 but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a bad bet as a tie occurs less than 1 in every 10 rounds. Be wary of putting money on a tie. Although odds are substantially greater for 9 to 1 versus 8:1)
Played correctly baccarat gives generally decent odds, aside from the tie wager of course.
Baccarat Strategy
As with all games baccarat banque has a handful of familiar false impressions. One of which is the same as a myth in roulette. The past is not a prophecy of future outcomes. Recording previous results at a table is a waste of paper and a snub to the tree that was cut down for our paper needs.
The most accepted and likely the most successful method is the one-three-two-six plan. This technique is used to pump up earnings and limit losses.
Begin by wagering one chip. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a grand total of three chips on the second bet. Should you succeed you will retain 6 on the table, pull off four so you have two on the third wager. Should you win the 3rd round, add two to the 4 on the game table for a total of 6 on the fourth wager.
Should you don’t win on the first wager, you take a hit of one. A win on the first round followed by a hit on the second brings about a loss of 2. Wins on the initial two with a defeat on the third provides you with a take of 2. And wins on the 1st 3 with a hit on the 4th means you break even. Succeeding at all four bets gives you with twelve, a gain of 10. This means you can give up the second round 5 times for every successful run of 4 rounds and in the end, break even.
