Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards of a value less than 10 are counted at their printed value while 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual players; they merely appear as the 2 hands to be dealt).

2 hands of 2 cards will then be played to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The score for every hand is the sum total of the 2 cards, but the first digit is removed. For e.g., a hand of seven … five has a tally of two (sevenplus5=12; drop the ‘1′).

A third card can be given out depending on the foll. practices:

- If the player or banker has a value of eight or nine, then both players stand.

- If the player has five or less, he/she hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of 5 or lesser. If the bettor hits, a chart shall be used to ascertain if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the two scores is the winner. Victorious wagers on the banker pay 19 to twenty (even money minus a 5 percent commission. Commission is monitored and paid out when you leave the table so be sure to have dollars still before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to one. Winning bets for tie generally pay out 8 to one and on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a bad gamble as ties happen less than 1 every ten hands. be wary of putting money on a tie. Nevertheless odds are positively better – 9 to 1 versus eight to 1)

Played accurately, baccarat presents pretty good odds, away from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Strategy

As with all games, Baccarat has some common misunderstandings. One of which is similar to a roulette myth. The past is in no way an actual indicator of future results. Tracking of old outcomes on a chart is a total waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most established and feasibly most successful strategy is the 1-three-two-6 scheme. This process is deployed to build up payout and reducing risk.

start by wagering 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, take away four so you have 2 on the 3rd bet. If you win the third bet, add two to the 4 on the table for a value of 6 on the fourth gamble.

If you lose on the initial wager, you take a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet followed by loss on the 2nd brings about a loss of 2. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth mean you breakeven. Winning at all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. Thus that you can get beaten the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
