Punto Banco Practices and Plan

Punto Banco Rules

Punto banco is wagered on with 8 decks in a dealing shoe. Cards under 10 are counted at their printed value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Wagers are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not really people; they just represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two cards are given to both the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The score for every hand is the sum total of the cards, but the 1st digit is discarded. For example, a hand of 5 and six has a total of 1 (five plus 6 = 11; drop the first ‘1′).

A additional card can be dealt depending on the following rules:

- If the player or house has a total of 8 or nine, the two players hold.

- If the gambler has 5 or lower, she takes a card. Players stands otherwise.

- If the player stays, the house hits on five or less. If the player hits, a guide is employed to figure out if the house holds or hits.

Punto Banco Odds

The greater of the two totals wins. Winning wagers on the house payout 19:20 (even money less a five percent commission. The Rake is kept track of and paid off once you leave the table so make sure you still have funds remaining just before you head out). Winning wagers on the gambler pays 1 to 1. Winning bets for a tie frequently pay 8 to 1 but occasionally 9 to 1. (This is a bad bet as ties occur less than 1 in every ten hands. Be cautious of betting on a tie. Although odds are substantially greater for 9 to 1 versus 8 to 1)

Gambled on correctly baccarat banque offers fairly good odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Scheme

As with all games Baccarat has some familiar myths. One of which is the same as a misunderstanding in roulette. The past isn’t a fore-teller of future events. Keeping track of previous outcomes on a chart is a bad use of paper and an insult to the tree that surrendered its life for our stationary needs.

The most accepted and likely the most accomplished course of action is the one, three, two, six tactic. This technique is employed to build up winnings and minimizing risk.

Begin by wagering 1 unit. If you succeed, add another to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 chips on the second bet. Should you win you will retain six on the game table, pull off 4 so you are left with 2 on the third round. If you win the 3rd wager, deposit 2 on the four on the game table for a total of six on the 4th bet.

If you lose on the initial bet, you take a hit of 1. A win on the first wager followed by a loss on the second causes a loss of 2. Success on the 1st two with a defeat on the third gives you with a gain of 2. And wins on the 1st three with a hit on the fourth means you break even. Succeeding at all four wagers leaves you with twelve, a gain of 10. This means you are able to lose the second bet 5 times for each favorable streak of 4 bets and still are even.
