Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards which are valued under ten are counted at their printed number meanwhile ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Wagers are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual gamblers; they only act as the two hands to be played).

Two hands of 2 cards will then be dealt to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The total for every hand shall be the grand total of the 2 cards, but the first digit is removed. For e.g., a hand of seven and five produces a score of 2 (7plus5=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A 3rd card could be dealt depending on the foll. codes:

- If the gambler or banker has a total score of eight or 9, each gamblers stand.

- If the gambler has five or less, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of 5 or lower. If the bettor hits, a chart will be used in order to figure if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the two scores wins. Winning wagers on the banker payout nineteen to twenty (even money minus a five % commission. Commission is followed closely and cleared out when you leave the table so make sure to have money still before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to 1. Winning bets for tie normally pays out at eight to 1 but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a bad bet as ties will occur less than 1 every 10 hands. be wary of betting on a tie. Even so odds are appreciably better – 9 to one versus 8 to 1)

When done properly, baccarat presents fairly good odds, apart from the tie bet obviously.

Baccarat Strategy

As with all games, Baccarat has some common misunderstandings. One of which is similar to a roulette myth. The past is surely not an indicator of future events. Tracking of prior conclusions on a chart is undoubtedly a complete waste of paper … an insult to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most commonly used and probably most successful method is the 1-3-2-six concept. This plan is deployed to increase wins and minimizing risk.

Begin by betting one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, remove four so you have two on the third gamble. If you win the 3rd gamble, add 2 to the four on the table for a value of 6 on the 4th gamble.

If you lose on the 1st bet, you take a loss of 1. A win on the first bet followed up by loss on the 2nd will create a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. Coming away with a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. In other words that you can get beaten the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
