Rules of Baccarat

Baccarat Standards

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards with less than a value of ten are valued at their printed number and on the other hand ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual players; they simply act as the 2 hands to be played).

Two hands of 2 cards shall then be played to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The score for every hand is the grand total of the 2 cards, but the first digit is removed. For eg, a hand of 7 as well as 5 will have a total score of two (sevenplusfive=twelve; drop the ‘one’).

A third card could be dealt depending on the foll. protocols:

- If the gambler or banker has a total score of eight or nine, both gamblers stand.

- If the bettor has 5 or lower, he/she hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of 5 or lesser. If the bettor hits, a chart shall be used to determine if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the two scores wins. Successful wagers on the banker payout nineteen to twenty (even money minus a five percent commission. Commission is followed closely and paid out when you leave the table so be sure to have dollars still before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to one. Winner bets for tie typically pay out eight to 1 but occasionally 9 to 1. (This is a bad bet as ties happen lower than 1 every 10 hands. be wary of putting money on a tie. Regardless odds are considerably better – nine to one vs. 8 to 1)

When played properly, baccarat provides fairly decent odds, away from the tie bet ofcourse.

Baccarat Tactics

As with just about all games, Baccarat has some well-known myths. One of which is very similar to a roulette misconception. The past is in no way an indicator of future results. Monitoring of past conclusions on a chart is simply a waste of paper as well as a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most accepted and feasibly most successful strategy is the 1-three-2-six method. This scheme is used to amplify winnings and limiting risk.

start by betting one unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, subtract 4 so you have 2 on the third wager. If you win the third wager, add 2 to the four on the table for a sum of 6 on the 4th gamble.

If you lose on the 1st wager, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet followed by loss on the 2nd causes a loss of 2. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you breakeven. Winning at all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. In other words that you can get beaten the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
