Baccarat Standards

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards under ten are said to be at face value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they purely represent the 2 hands to be played).

Two hands of 2 cards shall then be played to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The score for each hand shall be the sum total of the two cards, but the first digit is removed. For eg, a hand of 7 as well as 5 results in a score of 2 (sevenplusfive=twelve; drop the ‘one’).

A third card can be given depending on the foll. rules:

- If the player or banker has a total of eight or 9, then both gamblers stand.

- If the bettor has 5 or less, he/she hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the bettor hits, a chart will be used in order to see if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the 2 scores is the winner. Successful wagers on the banker payout nineteen to 20 (even money less a 5% commission. Commission is tracked and moved out when you leave the table so make sure to have cash remaining before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to 1. Winner bets for tie usually pays eight to one but on occasion 9 to 1. (This is a terrible wager as ties will happen less than 1 every 10 hands. Definitely don’t try placing bets on a tie. Nevertheless odds are considerably better – nine to one versus 8 to one)

Played properly, baccarat presents fairly decent odds, away from the tie bet ofcourse.

Baccarat Strategy

As with every games, Baccarat has some established misunderstandings. 1 of which is very similar to a roulette misconception. The past is in no way an actual indicator of future outcomes. Keeping track of old outcomes on a chart is for sure a waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most popular and almost certainly most successful tactic is the one-3-2-six method. This schema is deployed to boost profits and lowering risk.

commence by betting one unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, remove 4 so you have two on the 3rd bet. If you win the 3rd bet, add two to the four on the table for a total of six on the fourth gamble.

If you don’t win on the initial wager, you take a loss of 1. A win on the first bet followed up by loss on the second causes a loss of 2. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. A win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. Thus that you can fail to win the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
