## Rules of Baccarat

Baccarat Standards

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are worth their printed number while 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual individuals; they only represent the 2 hands to be given out).

2 hands of 2 cards shall then be dealt to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The value for any hand is the total of the 2 cards, but the very first digit is dumped. For e.g., a hand of 7 … five has a total of two (7plusfive=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A third card may be dealt depending on the following regulations:

- If the bettor or banker has a total score of eight or nine, each bettors stand.

- If the player has 5 or less, he hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or lesser. If the bettor hits, a chart will be used to determine if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the 2 scores is the winner. Winning wagers on the banker pay out nineteen to 20 (even odds minus a 5 percent commission. Commission is tracked and moved out when you leave the table so be sure to have cash still before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to one. Winner bets for tie customarily pays out at 8 to 1 and on occasion nine to 1. (This is a terrible gamble as ties will occur lower than 1 every 10 hands. abstain from wagering on a tie. Nevertheless odds are significantlly better – 9 to one versus eight to one)

When played correctly, baccarat provides pretty good odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Strategy

As with all games, Baccarat has some well-known misconceptions. One of which is similar to a roulette misconception. The past is in no way a predictor of future outcomes. Keeping track of historic results on a chart is undoubtedly a complete waste of paper as well as a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most common and feasibly most successful method is the one-3-two-six concept. This process is employed to amplify payouts and controlling risk.

start by wagering one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, take away 4 so you have two on the third gamble. If you win the 3rd gamble, add 2 to the four on the table for a value of 6 on the fourth bet.

If you don’t win on the 1st bet, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the first bet followed by loss on the second brings about a loss of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth mean you break even. Arriving at a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. Thus that you can get beaten the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
